  • 1.  Datastore upload speed is low

    Hello,

    vSphere 7.0.3.00200

    ESXi 6.5.0, 18678235

    LAN 1Gbps

     

    when I try to upload a file to the datastore (Datastore - Files - Upload Files), the upload speed is only 200 Mbps.

    why is the speed much lower than 1 Gbps?

    What's the backing device for the datastore?
    Is it a local disk/LUN, a shared storage LUN, vSAN, ...
    In case of local storage, is it HDD, or SSD backed storage, and does the controller support write-back caching?

    host have local RAID10

    upload file to VM ~900 Mbps
