Hi Vivek, if you create a vSwitch on a host and create a VM portgroup on that vSwitch, it must be there as an option in the VM network configuration.
sometimes (from memory) if there are may portgroups which you likely have you need to search for it, have you tried just entering the name of the port group you created?

Subject: current vcenter in down state and need to deploy new vcenter.
Hi Nathan,
Thank you for your response.
Could you please check the requested details below to help you understand my issue?Let me make sure I understand this correctly, you upgraded a DV switch and now vCenter has lost network connectivity? - Yes
You created a standard vSwitch, was this on the same host that vCenter is currently running on? - Yes and also in other hosts that is a part of cluster. Bcz i tried to power on the vCenter in others host and following the Broadcom KB atricle.
Did you add a nic uplink and the correct vLAN if applicable, to the portgroup on this vSwitch? did you create a portgroup on the vSwitch? - Yes, i addded the nic and vLAN is availble VM portgroup for vCenter.
What are your uplinks? LAGs, vLANs, what type of network load balancing is in use? vLAN and Route based on originating virtual port
If you restarted the vCenter on another host, you will need to create a vSwitch on that host as well, as standard vSwitch is per host and not distributed across the hosts. - Yes i have create vSwitch and add nic, Correct VLAN in vCenter portgroup.
When i tried to add portgroup, which i have created in vSwitch. it is not show there.
Please confirm the versions of ESX and vCenter you are running. - vCenter version is - 6.7.0.57000 and ESXi670-202210001
Is there NSX in your environment? versions? - We are not using.
Is the environment just vSphere or a VCF deployment? Version?? - 6.7
I would at present NOT recommend you try to redeploy vCenter, this will cause a lot of network VDS rebuilding. - But I tried my best. bcz i do not have backup of vCenter. If you have any suggest please let me i can try.
My guess is, the vCenter was connected to a static portgroup and connection was lost some how? not sure but vCenter needs to be on a ephemeral port so a host can assisgn a port when it restarts. creating a standard vSwitch with management portgroup with correct vlan settings for the management network and connecting vCenter to this new portgroup (name it something to make it easy to identify) that is how you get it back. Again I am assuming here so apologies if you know this already. here is a link about port binding as well.
- I have already tried to create a standard switch and create a portgroup for vCenter with correct vLAN. Also also create a kernal port for test purpose. which one i am able to ping anot host. But when i tried to assign new portgroup. it is showing. that was my issue.
Thanks

we have facing issue in my current vcenter and after upgrade the DV switch. Now we unable to connect with the network.
we have create new standard switch. but it that new port group which add also in standard switch. It not shows in the VM nic selection.
Troubleshoot step we follow.
1. Restart the management service.
2. Tried to start the vCenter in other esxi host. but no luck.
3. we also followed the below url link steps. but work for us.

Once vCenter is back online, necessary changes can be made in the distributed switch (vDS) to reconnect vCenter. Most of the steps are only possible via command line. | | View this on Broadcom > |

5. Now,we are think to deploy new vCenter.
Is there suggestion on this issue.
