Creating new XML plugin

Hi,

I installed the APC UPS plugin months ago and it's working fine, but I want to modify it.

For that reason, I copied the xml-file under a seperate name and defined an other name in the platform section.

<platform name="testdevice">

After restarting the local agent (and even the hyperic server), I cannot see the the new platform-type in the web-front-end.

Whats going wrong?

Same structure, same directory as the working APC-plugin!
