  • 1.  create vm inside tanzu namespace

    Hi All,

    I have build vsphere with tanzu using vds and HAproxy as a loadbalancer in my homelab.

    my question, is it possible to create virtual machines inside tanzu namespace? I tried to create a vm in that namespace via vcenter ui and it couldn't.

    I am confused, why would be you be attempting to deploy a virtual machine to the namespace?   that is a container construct.  deploy your VM's directly against vCenter.

    Hi Tom, 

    Thanks for your response, I'm just curious after seeing this slide and my assumption is that the vsphere with tanzu namespace can deploy a virtual machine side by side with the tanzu kubernetes cluster / vsphere pod.

    This should be possible with the latest release: Deploying and Managing Virtual Machines in vSphere with Tanzu
