  • 1.  Converter Enterprise Cold Boot CD Issue

    Running an ESX 3.5 cluster with VC 2.5 trying to perform a cold convert.

    I'm struggling to find the tools needed to create a boot CD for the version of the converter running on my VC. It claims to be version 4 and the appropriate documentation implies that I can download a convertercd-4.0.0 zip fuile but I can't find it. I've seen an old post that states you can create a boot CD from VC2.5 if you have the converter plugin but again, I can't see any way of doing that.

    I'd appreciate some help on this please.

    If you have subscription you can download it

    (the ISO is in the ZIP)

    The one on the VC2.5 is not the cold clone version.

    Thanks for your swift response vm-ness.

    I did find this but saw the version number being only 3.0.3 thought it wasn't going to help with the fact that the VC plugin is 4.0.0.

    Anyway, I've created a boot CD and booted a server from it but still get the same error as I did with the 3.0.2u1 boot CD I had created when I try to import the server. This is another thread though and I'll see if I can find anything already reported.
