    hi! I've a win2k svr phsyical machine with 2 arrays or raid5. i noticed that when i try to convert this physical machine into VM (esx vsphere4i) using vCenter Converter Standalone version 4.0.1, i can only see the first array of logical drives, but not able to see the second array. is there any workaround for this?

    first of all : do not use Converter 4.0.1 againsty Win 2000.

    Use Converter 3.0.3

    Make sure the source has service pack 4 !

    What does that version detect ?

    Also you do not need to clone all arrays per Converter.

    Often it is enough to use Converter against the bootdisk and import the rest with good old trust worthy procedures like robocopy
