  • 1.  Converging to VCF 9.x

    Hi,

We have an existing vSphere 9.0.2 environment on VSAN and no NSX manager. It's currently just the vCenter server and ESXi servers.

Now, I would like to convert this to VCF 9. I installed the VCF installer and run the wizard. Part of the installation is also installing the NSX Manager.

Now my question is. Does installing the NSX Manager will alter or reconfigure my existing virtual networking configurations? I don't want to change or reconfigure my existing virtual networking.

    Thanks

No, this will not affect your current network configuration. If you want to stick with the segments supported by vALN, disable the overlay configuration in the wizard.

So @idefix90, i should disable this option to "Configure overlay using ESX Management VMkernel Networking" ? And by disabling this option, it will not change or alter my current virtual networking configuration, correct?
