  • 1.  Connect to W2k-Client

    Hi all,

    I'm new on ESXi and have installed the Server and now also one client vm. We need the visualization because of old software, running only on Windows 2000. My Problem at the moment is, the VM with W2k is runing, I can connect with the VMWare vSphere Client using the Console. How can i connect to this machine with out the VMWare vSphere client? Is there any kind of player? Because this client is also a kind of management console for the server.

    Hope anyone is understanding my problem

    Hello,

    You could use an windows RDP to connect to the VM without the vsphere client. Bcoz rightly said by you the vSphere client console is mostly used for management and troubleshooting and not for

    daily use, RDP or any other remote software can be used.
