    how do I add an iscsi target via command line?

    esxcfg-swiscsi does not have that option

    Hi,

    There are a few options, but none of them are ran directly on the esxi hosts...that i know of anyways...

    If you have the vMA installed or some sort of rCLI you can use the command

    vicfg-iscsi  

    something along the lines of this... but best to look at the cli reference...

    vicfg-iscsi --server esxi-server-name --username root -S -a -i IP.OF.TARGET.SERVER --name iqn.2006-01.com.blahblahblahblah vmhba33


    OR I Believe you can do it through powershell as well...just have a look at the powershell admin guide to figure out that syntax...
