Cluster vDS and Port Group Configuration

Hopefully someone can clear a query up I have.  I am trying to deploy Holodeck onto a vCenter cluster and note that the documentation says the distributed port group must use MAC Learning instead of Promiscuous Mode.  However, with this configuration when I try and then deploy a Holodeck instance on the cluster it fails during the pre-check and says Promiscuous Mode is not enabled.

Incidentally, if I do select Promiscuous Mode on the PG's the deployment does pass the pre-checks but I'm getting some weird network connection issues in a dual site setup. I am trying to rule out if this is the cause of my issues.....has anyone successfully got a Holodeck VCF instance deployed to a vCenter cluster and can they confirm what vDS and Port Group settings should be used?

This is the exact error message:

Andrew, I have encountered the same issues.  I have enabled Promiscuous mode on the VDS to pass the pre-check and then immediately disable to continue with the deployment.  If you review the Getting Start Guide > Configuration Requirements.  It provides detail that Promiscuous mode should be disabled and MAC Learning enabled.

The deployment continues after I make this temporary configuration change.  However, the deployment fails after the VCF Installer is deployed see attached image 

Has anyone else send this issue when deploying VCF 9.1 with HoloDeck.
