I'm about to purchase these parts, and wanted to make sure I would be able to run an ESXi server with them.

    Any suggestions?

I've been looking through that list, and I can't seem to find a cheap board that has either AM3 or 775 sockets with DDR3 memory.

I was able to find one with DDR2 Memory, but it's pretty expensive to buy the RAM.

Know of any other motherboards I could use that support DDR3 memory and are rather cheap?

I'd like to keep it at $300.

Would what I posted up there not be compatable with ESXi?

only those who have tested would be able to answer. If it's working it would be posted in both of the sites (the previous and the below). Another way is to go to http://ultimatewhitebox.com This site has alot of AM3 mobo, which i think one of it would be able to fit in DDR3.

    Good Luck.
