  • 1.  capacity planning. Analyse the datasore growth

    Need to find the growth of the data store for past 6 months to do capacity planning. How to pull the report.

    Can someone guide me. I didn't setup any report  in my environment.

    we are using vcenter 6.0

    I guess, you should use third-party monitoring applications such as Veeam ONE on this regard.

    The applications can monitor, analyze and create report for you.

    Hi,

    You can pull the report from vcenter database   or use any thirdpart tools which help s to pull .

    vCenter server is responsible for storing the reports for configured statistic level.

    Mostly vsphere admin keep it as default and rely on other products for capacity planning for example VCOPS, VROPS or any other third party.

    By default, all collection intervals use statistics level 1  which will not serve the purpose.
