    Hello I have installed Update Manager with VC 2.5Update4, when I try to scan for Updates it fails with the following error log

    SSLVerifyCertAgainstSystemStore: Subject mismatch: VMware vs 155.17.137.36

    SSLVerifyCertAgainstSystemStore: The remote host certificate has these problems:

    * The host name used for the connection does not match the subject name on the host certificate

    Hi Braulio,

    possible reason for an error like this could be mismach between VC and ESX. Make sure to use compatible builds

    I think the builds should be compatible between VC Server and VI CLient. Please download the compatible build from vmware's website. OR run the installer used for VC installation and just select the Vi client installation.
