  • 1.  Can we install SQL Server on the vCenter server ?

    Is it possible to install SQL server on the vCenter server or the Connection Server ...

    Due to limited memory problems I have to make some adjustments with my currect setup.

    Hey Taher843,

    If your environment is small you can install vCenter with SQL Express that comes bundled along with the vCenter server setup.

    Can this be installed on the same vCenter server ?

    Will View Composer be able to connect to it ?

    Yes the SQL server can be installed on the vCenter Server.

    every thing is ok but select database recovery model option simple.

    If you are installing the reporting services for the database make sure not set them to a different port, as they default to port 80 which can cause issues for vCenter Server.
