  • 1.  Any point on using VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle any more?

    HI.

    Earlier it was expected to use VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle to maintain and use as a management platform for the VMware Aria Suite products. 

    Is this any point any more since Broadcom removed the ability to upgrade the products?

    We are only using Operations and Logs.

    Hi Tore,

    With version 8.x, you need to download the binaries and upload them to your vRSLCM appliance to update your Aria product via LCM. This is due to the new download token required to download entitled products.

    With version 9, vRSLCM is now embedded within VCF Operations (Aria Operations).

    Even with version 8, I still see value in vRSLCM as it still streamlines your upgrade and automates many validations before applying patches and upgrades.
