Add a second LAN Card on Esxi host

Dear All;

I am working on esxi host. The Esxi host is installed on hp z400 workstation. I am using build in LAN card as a uplink. I have inserted a second LAN card on the motherboard of machine, but don't have any idea how to install it on esxi host and use as a backup uplink.

I would be very thankful if anybody help me regarding this

VMware maintains a list of supported components like network adapters etc. at https://www.vmware.com/go/hcl?deviceCategory=io
Please see if your network adapter is on the list for the ESXi version that you are using, and whether an additional driver is required.

If you are using ESXi version 5.x or 6.x. you may also want to check out the drivers at https://vibsdepot.v-front.de/wiki/index.php/List_of_currently_available_ESXi_packages
