Does vSphere 4.1 support 10G copper iSCSI HBA / NIC? Will vSphere 5 support it? If it support it, which one it will support?

http://bit.ly/biXaGq - A search of the HCL for string 10G

There are already 10Gb NICs that are supported currently. Please see http://www.vmware.com/go/hcl/

The VMware HCL shows 22 10Gb NIC's when you look under the IO Devices tab (10GB keyword, Type: Network)... You'll need to check to see if the one you want is listed... Personally, I'd opt for an Intel made card (even if re-branded) over any other... That holds true for all my network cards...

I would agree with golddiggie on the Intel stuff. There are cards that work well, you can also search the forums here for some of the brands and models to see what issues people have run into with them and possible configuration changes that may help.
