  • 1.  Does VMWare Fusion support shared disks?

    I need to simulate a RAC environment. VirtualBox supports shared disks but it's slower than Fusion. I tried setting:

    scsi0:5.sharing = "multi-writer"

    in the vmx file with Fusion but it didn't worked. Is this supported in Fusion or is this only for ESX?

    It seems to be working if also setting disk.locking = "FALSE"

    But can someone let me know if the correct parameter is scsi0:1.sharing = "multi-writer" os scsi0:1.shared = "TRUE"?
