Tools-light file names and build numbers

    I wasn't sure what sub to put this in so I hope I'm in the right place. 

    Can someone please explain why there are two different VIBs in the tools-light folder and what all of the numbers in the filenames are?

    More info: I downloaded the VMWare Tools 12.3.5 core offline bundle because we use a Powershell script to install new versions of the tools to our hosts. When I expand the path \VMware-Tools-12.3.5-core-offline-depot-ESXi-all-22544099.zip\vib20\tools-light I see 2 vibs in there:

    VMware_locker_tools-light_6.5.0-12.3.5.22544099.vib

    VMware_locker_tools-light_12.3.5.22544099-22545121.vib

    What does the 6.5.0-12.3.5 in the first one mean? I know that 22544099 is the build number.

    In the second one it leaves off the 6.5.0 but adds 22545121 after the build number. 

    I'm trying to figure out which one to install. What is the difference in them?
