Sharing Folder is missing?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to show the sharing folder after XP is installed.

The shared folder on Mac is disable, and I am not able to select it.

Under Virtual Machine > Cancel VMware Tools Installation is enable.

Furthermore, does VMware have any feature to backup all existing system status? just like using Norton Ghost to create an image, if XP goes wrong, I can restore this image.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve it?

1. So when you go to Virtual Machine --> Shared Folder, you can't select a folder?

2. Usually when Virtual Machine --> Cancel VMware Tools is active that means you are pushing vmtools. Did this complete?

3. You can always create your VM then copy it off before sysprep. That way you have a backup if things all go wrong. Otherwise you use snapshot's to grab changes before you apply something you believe might cause an issue.
