    I need to use SQLserver and SQL managament studio on my Macbook air (early 2015). Is VMware fusion the right solution to play these?

    See duplicate post here. If your host system is Windows, you need Workstation (or the Docker image). If your host system is MacOS, then you need Fusion (again, or Docker image).

    I have a macbook air (early 2015) with mac os mojave 10.14, so to install sql management studio can I use WorkstationPlayer right? I prefer this solution because I will the necessity to install others program fit with Windows

    But VMware Wokstation is fitted with macos mojave?

    Hi,

    WorkstationPlayer only runs on Windows or Linux as host.

    For macOS you must use VMware Fusion in order to run your Windows VM with SQL.

    Having said that. I don't know how powerful your macbook air is (CPU, RAM and free disk space), but for running any serious SQL engine it might be a tad light.

    If your database is not too big then you are probably fine. If your database is > 10 GB then I doubt strongly that you will have a great experience.
