    Hi All

I installed Oracle VM VirtualBox  on Windows  I installed and ran Debian Bullseye inside it with no problems However after I powered off virtual box my laptop would not comunicate with any devices on my network either with wifi or over the LAN or conecting to them with an ethernet cable The devices appear but are greyed out and I cannot ping their ip addresses not communicate with them Do you know what is causing the problem  Is there any setting I should change in Virtual Box when configuring it or when it shuts down and is repowered  What about the advanced settings when I boot into Debian Bullseye  I have tried resetting the network adapters on my laptop but this makes no difference  There are no error messages I can find  It is iust that I cannot communicate with any devices on the network even though they are visible when I do a search for them
    Thank You Patrick

I'd say this is a virtual box issue, not related to ESXi unless you're running that virtualbox on a virtual W10 desktop inside an ESXi environment...which would be very inception.
