    Hi.

I need to do a complete and working copy , outside of the datastore, in a location like NAS server or external HDD drive, of a whole VM for disaster recovery/backup purpose .

I know that the VM must be OFF.

Wich free tool may I use ?

    Thanks in advance.

    There are several options available.
Some of them are to attach the host to your NAS via NFS, and copy the VM, or use a tool like WinSCP to connect to the host, and copy/backup the VM's files this way.
