Not sure which of these options would be best (performance wise) for creating and running a virtual machine - could someone please help?

I would be running Windows Vista on an iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM.

    Thanks very much.

The boot camp option may offer a slight performance advantage since your Windows installation is booting from a physical disk. However, if you want to take advantage of the full portability (backup, etc.) that virtualization offers, I would just go with a native VM (i.e. Easy Install or Manual VM Creation). Why add complexity when you don't have to? I hope this helps.

Don't forget to use the buttons on the side to award points if you found this useful (you'll get points too).
