Patch downloading failed with "Packaging failed" error in WAC Console & "Peer Not Authenticated" error in PMEngine logs

Jan 08, 2025 05:03 AM

Hello Broadcom Community,

We are facing a critical issue in our environment where patch downloading is failing with the exception: "Peer not authenticated" in PMEngine logs .

2025-01-08 13:24:21,582 [Dloader-2] ERROR [com.ca.pmengine.dlm.DLoader] - Patch: SQLServer2019-KB5049235-x64.exe {5372388e-6f21-439a-9a40-ff9b85627f1d} failed  with exception detail: peer not authenticated

Additionally, the new patch shows up in the WAC console but when we try to download it by accepting it fails with the error: "Packaging failed".

We have already followed an article ( link of article ) related to this issue and implemented all the suggested steps, including certificate installation, with the assistance of the Broadcom team. Unfortunately, this has not resolved the problem.

This issue has completely stalled our patching process, leaving us unable to proceed further. It has become a major pain point for us, and we would greatly appreciate it if someone from the Broadcom community could assist in resolving this issue.

Looking forward to your suggestions and support. Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,

Shiv Choudhary
