CMTY1111LV - Disaster Recovery for MS SQL Server Workloads in VMware Cloud Foundation
A Disaster event is never the time to discover that your Disaster Protection and Recovery plans are insufficient, impractical or too complicated for your important, mission-critical workloads. VMware Live Recovery (VLR) affords enterprises running VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) the ability to easily create, manage and utilize simplified, intuitive and repeatable Plans for any workloads in the infrastructure. This technical session discusses how to deploy and configure the application-agnostic VLR for production, enterprise-class, clustered Microsoft SQL Server workloads in a VCF environment. This Session is Demo-based and includes configuration step-by-step and recovering SQL Server cluster in a simulated disaster event.
Speaker:
Deji Akomolafe, Microsoft Applications Lead, Broadcom
