  • 1.  How do I book the VCP5-DCV exam?

      Hello,

    How do I book the VCP5-DCV exam?  I'm in the course and I think this means I have a path to be able to do the exam.  I was told I can't do the exam unless I take the training.  What is the cost of the exam too?


    I'm going to use autolabs for my lab setup, but what do many use for test questions to prep you for the exam?

    I'm assuming you're new to VMware certification/exams. You have a choice of 2 exams that you can take - VCP510 is based on vSphere 5.0/5.1, and VCP550 is based on vSphere 5.5.

    Start on this page, request authorisation and download the blueprint for the exam you wish to take: (VCP5-DCV) VCP-Data Center Virtualization

    There is a study guide and practice exam on the page I've linked to above. You'll find many other helpful resources online if you search "vcp5-dcv study guide", or you can buy practice exams from MeasureUp: VMware Practice Tests
