When would the Spring data release candidate be available for Gemfire 9.8.X ? As per the below matrix, we have the release candidate only for Gemfire 9.5.4

Hello Santhosh,

Thanks for contacting the Pivotal Support Community!.

This question should be addressed to the Spring Community, Pivotal doesn't control the release train for that particular framework.

That said, Spring Data Moore / 2.2.0.RC3 for Apache Geode 1.9 and Pivotal GemFire 9.8 (SDG) are already available, you can check in the actual pom.xml [1] that the project depends on GemFire 9.8.3.

If you're using Spring Boot Data GemFire, on the other hand, the correct version would be 1.2; you can look at the corresponding Spring Boot for Apache Geode and Pivotal GemFire Version Compatibility Matrix [2] for further details.

Hope this helps.

Best regards.

We only have RC3 but I am wondering when would the actual release be available for us to use in Production.

Hello Santhosh,

According to the Moore Release Train [1], it should be GA on September 30th, 2019, but you might want to double check with the Spring Community.

Best regards.
