 Deploying docker image from GCR

When I push an app that uses a Docker Image hosted in GCR the deployment process hangs after staging is complete and the staging containers are destroyed. I tried everything I could think of and find in the docs , but nothing seems to do the trick. I can put the same image on docker hub and everything deploys fine. Any advice on this would help. Thanks
