 Altering region to move to --off-heap

Hi,

We have all our regions created on heap. We want to move them to --off-heap. Is there a way to do it? I did not find any option in alter region command, and looks like most probably we need to create regions again with --off-heap option, but wanted to confirm.

Hi Unmesh,

 

You need to recreate the regions. As of now you cannot use the alter region command.

That said, your understanding is correct: you can only set this behaviour during region creation, it can't be altered afterwards.
