Hello Guys,
Have you already try to shutdown and restart vSphere with Tanzu in VCF?
I recently shutdown and restart the vSphere with Tanzu by following the VMware procedure and I had an issue with Harbor Embedded pods. I did the shutdown and restart 4 times and each time I had an issue with Harbor Embedded.
This the procedure:
---------------- reboot Tanzu
1. Stop the Kubernetes services on the vCenter Server (vmon-cli -k wcp) 2. Shutdown Supervisor Cluster Control Plane VMs 3. Shutdown Tanzu Kubernetes cluster control plane VMs 4. Shutdown Tanzu Kubernetes cluster worker VMs 5. Stop Harbor VMs (Power Off) 6. Shutdown KaaS NSX Edge nodes 7. Shutdown vCenter Server
1. Start KaaS NSX Edges (Confirm that both nodes are runing) 2. Start vCenter Server 3. VMs start automaticaly : - Supervisor Cluster Control Plane VMs - Tanzu Kubernetes cluster control plane VMs - Tanzu Kubernetes cluster worker VMs - Harbor VMs |
Is there order to follow while powering off harbor pods? because in the documentation there mention that we should power-off the first Harbor pods.
Thank you,
