Using DCFM for alerting about port status change

I am trying to setup DCFM to send email notification when port status changes. The idea is to get an email when a port goes offline.

I have enabled traps an I can see the following message in DCFM log :

Property Value
Probable Cause
Count 1
Resolved Yes
Message A fibre channel port changed its operational state;Port 137 (89) changed operational state to Offline
Time(Switch) Fri Oct 14 15:03:31 EDT 2011
ModuleName Switch
Event Source
Status 1
Severity Info
Source Name msssandrctpr02
Virtual Fabric ID
Recommended Action
Time(Host) Fri Oct 14 15:03:31 EDT 2011

I have also setup Even Policty for Port Offline  but I am not getting any email notications.

What am I missing ?

Re: Using DCFM for alerting about port status change

You will have to change the severity code level in DCFM to send informational messages. Be aware that ports change state a lot for various reason and you may have your inbox flooded with these are all the other informational messages that the system records such as logins, fabric changes etc
