DCFM LDAP integration

Hi, I am trying to setup DCFM to authenticate against and LDAP directory (Active Directory), by using the smc tool.

Everything works fine, and I get the checkboxes that all is good, but when I go to apply, it asks for the DCFM database password.

In reviewing the manual the default is

user - dcfm

password - passw0rd

plugging in those values gives me a invalid username or password.

I have changed the dcfm database password with the other utility, dbpassword, and know it is good, but the tool keeps rejecting the password for the DCFM database password.

Am I using the right account "dcfm"?

Thanks,

Alex

Re: DCFM LDAP integration

Hi,

if I remember correctly I have used for RADIUS the default user account "Administrator" and the password for Administrator.

Re: DCFM LDAP integration

Andreas,

Thanks for the quick reply.   The Adminstrator account worked as you described.  I suppose someone at Brocade should update the documentation!

Thanks for the help!

Alex
