Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years, you’ve been hearing (EVERYWHERE) about the insane performance benefits available with latest generation storage arrays. With enhanced storage performance comes a challenge, even a requirement for the Storage Area Network to keep up if you want to actually get the performance benefits that you’ve been reading about in all those marketing glossies.

Today, assuming you’ve still not moved under that rock, you’ve likely heard about NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express). NVMe is now emerging as a new server-side storage option that promises to deliver even more performance gains when deploying flash storage.  As if this wasn’t cool enough, on August 9th, at Flash Memory Summit, the first NVMe over Fibre Channel demonstration was announced, making it possible to get server-side performance with networked devices.  Like I said, pretty cool!

Now that NVMe looks to push the boundaries of performance even further, Brocade, Broadcom, and Lenovo are eager to show you how at VMworld in Las Vegas (sorry in advance for the heat). So, if by chance you have been living under a rock and have emerged just in time to melt with us in Las Vegas, swing by Brocade booth #935 to see the NVMe demonstration presented by Brocade, Broadcom, and Lenovo and see...

  • …how you can get even better performance out of Flash with NVMe over Fibre Channel
  • …the application advantages of multi-protocol fabrics
  • …the tools available to help you build the NVMe Data Center
  • …how our joint NVMe solution reduces latency by 55% compared to traditional SCSI
