zone per ESS vs one 2 one zoning

In our environment we use zoning per ESS, this is easier to maintain.

Re: zone per ESS vs one 2 one zoning

We follow the single initiator / single target standard for all our zones. Realistically, if given the option, single initiator / single target is route to go.

Re: zone per ESS vs one 2 one zoning

First we implemented a per OS zoning. But once we had some trouble with an HBA, and all HBA's in that zone were disconnected from the SAN.Then we implemented the single initiator / single target zone, as recommended, and now we have no more problems.
