host encountering i/o errors, lots

I recently moved several AIX hosts from a 5300 6.4.2 fos brocade switch to a 6520 7.4.2a fos, the hosts were overwhelmed with i/o errors, more for hosts that had a lot of traffic. The old path was left in place but offline which meant I had 1 ldev going to 2 ports on the storage frame. Question is were the errors caused because of different fos levels/new switch or ldev being shared among 2 different ports? The switches didn't display any errors nor did the ports when displaying porterrshow. Thanks

@Ed_Leach

is not a issue of FOS level

both Operatings System AIX as HP-UX, register the PID, that mean in you case, when you move the HBA from one switch to another, and most probable those switch a different Domain ID; you need from OS Side to rescan the HBA port.
