Serial number wiped on Sphereon 4300?


I received a pair of 2nd had Sphereon 4300 switches and didn't know the IPs or passwords for them so in the process of trying to reset this I logged in over the serial port and logged in as engineering user (found some instructions on a web forum post) and tried resetting the switches. the first one I did I tried the resetpw command but didn't think it had work so found a command that seemed to reset the nvram. This cleared all info and set the switch back to defaults however it seems to have cleared the serial number infor also so now the license keys I have for enabling the ports on the switch don't seem to be working. Haven't found a way to actually set the serial number, is there a command for doing this that anyone can share with me?
