Rule defCHASSISMEMORY_USAGE_75 violated

my customer upgraded firmware in Brocade 5480 Embedded Switch from v6.4.x to v7.4.1b version and started to receive these error messages: Monitoring and Alerting System notification - Rule defCHASSISMEMORY_USAGE_75 violated. Obj:CHASSIS 0

Command top shows:

top - 15:35:25 up 8 days,  1:55,  2 users,  load average: 0.00, 0.04, 0.01

Tasks:  94 total,   1 running,  93 sleeping,   0 stopped,   0 zombie

Cpu(s):  0.7%us,  1.7%sy,  0.0%ni, 97.7%id,  0.0%wa,  0.0%hi,  0.0%si,  0.0%st

Mem:    504244k total,   464768k used,    39476k free,    19256k buffers

Swap:        0k total,        0k used,        0k free,    76044k cached

In my opinion 40 MB free memory is normal and this alert can be suppressed.

Re: Rule defCHASSISMEMORY_USAGE_75 violated

Basically it shows a MAPS rule has triggered the event. 40MB is not that much to be honest. Maybe schedule a reboot as one or more processes from a previous FOS version may have started eating memory.
