Greetings thrinath.seelam. I'd suggest starting with our SAN glossary for reference. its a bit dated (2008), but does provide a great intro on many of the fibre channel terms.

The primary port types are covered in the glossary. M_port is a mirror port. Backend ports are basically the internal ports (ie ASIC to ASIC). 10-bit addressing is very much addressed in the 2nd link. Please see "10-bit addressing mode" in the Admin Guide.
