We were having an issue with host not seeing the FC storage. I removed the member from the Zone Config, saved it then enabled it. Now none of the hosts can see the storage. However the zone config remains the same, and it scurrently the only one I have configured.
Can someone help me out? This on old brocade silkworms that I am not that familiar with.
TIA

undo your change first

You mean add the host back to the zone config? If so done.

yes thats what i ment (if thats the only thing you did when it broke down).
rescan for storage.
If that doesn't work post zoning information svp

Rescan doesn't do anything, IE not paths or luns discovered.
Can I recreate the zone config file and not lose any data?

The way I see things, only your VC wwn's for HP blades are in that zone.
I don't see any storage as wwn or alias in the zone.
This zone either never worked in the firstplace or something else (storage) got deleted to.
update
figure out on which port the storage is attached and add that port (or wwn hanging off that port) to your zone and your done.
on a side note, HP best practice tells you to only add one initiator in a zone. I'm counting 6 initiators (and 0 targets)

Ok.
Under > Zone > WWNs > EMC Clariion 50:05:01:60:90:21:05:b7 do I need to hit "Add Member?"
Does that matter? On the right hand side on Zone Members it only has the HP blades listed.

I never set this up a developer did who is no longer here so now its my responsibility to fix it. So teh config is completely new to me. IE I never saw it before today so I dont know what it may or may not have looked like prior.
Ok. So under Zone > Ports & Attached Devices > 2,1 ..EMC Clarion hit Add member to zone members and that should do it?
Thanks for your help.

Like so?
Thanks for the suggestions, I could definately use the training for this stuff. Please confirm this is what I need to do to make the storage visible via the ESX hosts. Also is there any chance of data loss in doing this?
