NTP issue in Virtual Fabrics

Hi Everyone, I have noticed something new for me about NTP in virtual fabrics.

For example, I have a DCX chassis having virtual fabrics enabled. I could see the chassis and default logical switch is configured to access configured NTP server.

However, other logical switch in the same chassis is configured to access LOCL. Does it mean that when the default logical switch is configured to access NTP server all other logical switches will be in sync with the default switch????? Kindly help me in understanding this..:)

Thanks a lot

Re: NTP issue in Virtual Fabrics

I have seen notes earlier which says NTP is used only on the principal switch in the fabric. So the default you referring to may be the principal switch.

Re: NTP issue in Virtual Fabrics

Well, both default logical switch & other logical switche belong to different fabrics and are principal switches in respective fabrics..
