I have on one Fabric lots enc_out (encoding outside of dataframebounderies) p14 which are worrying
as well as the visible discard c3 errors on P4 & P5
The i-series Power 9 host has 2 paths , P14 & P22, both of which show also disc c3 errors.
I have occasional signal losses as well (reboots likely)
The stats collected are since 27/11/2018
The new site has gone in production with new cables but the situation is far from ideal.
What would be my ideal course of action to address all on by one ? Starting with the most apparent problem
Some reboots on setups do account to the counters, but which countervalues increment with a reboot
and which don't could help to understand the reads a whole lot better.

Hello,
enc_out in many cases point to HW issue so at first clear counter with command:
portstatsclear [slot/]port
or clean all stats with command
slotstatsclear
Check counter after some time, if it will increase k RX TX values on SFP, clean connectors and check cable
Link fail and loss sig is generated during reboot as the link is going to offile states. Ocassionaly its together with c3Discards because HBA is sending wrong frames during reboot.
Check attached guide for more info.
