Long Wave ISL/Trunk - ENC_OUT errors

We have 2 trunks on each of our core switches between 2 campus buildings.  Trunk 1 uses ISL ports 6,7 on both switches, and Trunk 2 uses ISL ports 54,55 on both switches.  Our switches are brocade 5300 model on 6.1.0c firmware.  Anyhow - all the ISLs are health except for port 55 in our redundant data center.  All settings are the same as the other 3 ISL connections - ie: ports configured the same way, same distance, same quality of fiber (comfirmed with FLUKE), same SFPs etc.  For this 1 particular port, 1 side gets 0 ENC_OUT errors - very clean, but the other side has a large amounts of ENC_OUT errors building up (via porterrshow - few thousand every second).

Please advice.  Thanks.

Re: Long Wave ISL/Trunk - ENC_OUT errors

Did you try another ports to see if the error moves with it or SFP to exclude dodgy lasers.

Do you use patchpanels which you did perhaps not measure?
