Integrated Routing and Virtual Switch

Hi all, we need to allow visibility between two SAN switches not directly connected that are in two different sites.
These two switches have integrated switch license and we would like to connect it to a dedicated VSAN on a switches that are connected to the DWDM by base switch but doesn't have any IR license, is it possible?
I add a screenshot to help to better undestanding.

Thank you.

Re: Integrated Routing and Virtual Switch

Hello,

are the DCX connected to logical (virtual) switch 1 right now ?

If you would like to dedicate SAN .... i will create new BASE switch (must have same FID as current base switches)on DCXes and connect via anothe XISL to base switch of S8600B, you will create BASE fabric. Of course than you have to create logical switces on DCXes with same FID (different as on 8600B) and alow XISL use, but as i remmember it should be allowed once the LS is created.

To be honest i never use BASE fabric with more than 2 base switches...so it will be great to test configuration somewhere...
