ISL without Trunking License

Hi all,

Someone could explain me how 2 Switches communicate between each other when we connect 2 ISL's without Trunking License. One link keeps offline or both link are used?

Without Trunking License is possible to configure load balancing between 2 ISL's?

Re: ISL without Trunking License

Hi Luis,

when you connect 2 ISL (each ISL is 2Gbps or more) between two FC-Switches both links will be used.

If you have Exchanged-Based Routing Policy (this is the default) DLS (Dynamic Load Sharing) is active.

Kind Regards
