ISL Problems between 3900 Switches

I have two separate fabrics, each consisting of a 3800 & 3900. I now wish to add an additional 3900 to each fabric.

Re: ISL Problems between 3900 Switches

How are you adding the switch to the fabric? Are you just plugging them in while they are both turned on? If so, try turning the new switch off, plug it in to the existing fabric, and then power it up. I have had some quirky problems with adding switches to fabrics, but that has always worked for me. Hope this helps...

Interestingly only one switch had the extended fabric license
