We have two 12000 directors with 4 IP address in each(2 per logical switch). We have been faced with the IP address dropping on one of the directors thus being unable to PINQ three out of the four IP address until we unplug them and reseat them. It actuall yhas happened on both directors and our networking area is offering no help. Anyone slese seen this?

I have a 3900 that is infrequently dropping it's management interface, too. Did you come to any resolution with your 12000? We are plugged into a Cisco 2950 switch nailed to 100mbps full-duplex.

Same problem before, on 3900 and on 12000. Put the speed at 10 MB/s full duplex on your switches and on the Cisco switches and it will be OK then.

We verified that we are 100 full on the Cisco and the 12000. Still occurs sometimes and ARPCACHE is fine but Cisco 3 layer swithc is logging errors(crc and input). Still not sure how going to 10 full will impact this
