I have read many articles, I still have confusion understanding the difference between the two. Please help with examples.

Re: Front Domain and Translate Domain in FC Routing

The translate domain represents a phantom switch in the edge Fabric that all the phantom devices from the remote fabric hang off.

All devices from the remote fabric will be mapped at this phantom domain.

The Front Domain is for internal frame routing purposes.

I hope this helps,

Andreas
