FC connectivity issue

I moved a connection from a port on one switch to a different switch in the same fabric.

Since doing this the HBA no longer logs into a NetApp storage array.

I have a feeling this is something to do with the fact this particular fabric is made up originally of 2 separate Fabrics which some genius then linked together with a dirty ISL.

Has anyone come across this before?

I see it on the Brocade name server no problems but the initiator wont register with the storage array.

No zoning changes were required, to make sure I recreated everything anyway but no change.

Re: FC connectivity issue

Some OSses don't like to be moved or the target to move. It's not really clear what moved where.

Can provide more info, diagram, zoningdb, switchshow, fabricshow, islshow, etc of before and after.

You do need to change zoning if you still use DID,PID as zoning method, wwpn zones you do not need to alter.
