DCFM Client on Windows 7 - JAVA CPU Usage Very High

We are running DCFM 10.4.1. My colleagues do not experience any JAVA issues like mine.

When I open the web client, my JAVA process runs at over 50% cpu utililization on and off. (more on than off). During this time, I cannot do anything in the DCFM window.

Any one else experienced this?

I have tried some things..

Deleted JAVA and reinstalled the latest - build 1.6.0_22-b04

Runnig IE 8 - 8.0.7600.16385 - issue is seen here

Tried installing Latest Firefox - demonstrates the exact same symptoms. - Firefox/3.6.12

Ran JAVARA to cleanup JREs, no help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

btw - My machine did not always exhibit this issue. It used to work just fine. I tried to link it to the 10.4.1. upgrade, but all the rest of the DCFM users are running fine.

Re: DCFM Client on Windows 7 - JAVA CPU Usage Very High

Well, I get to answer my own question as I have found a solution to my issue, not really a solution, more of a workaround.

What I did to "FIX" my java issue was this:

I deleted my userid from DCFM.

I used the DCFM management console to restart ALL the DCFM services.

I added my userid back to the DCFM server and all is good now.

Hope this helps anyone who is having a DCFM client performance issue.

Regards...  and have a Fabulous Holiday Season.
